Active Ingredients -Recon Coffee Energy Cola contains 1 (355/12fl. oz.) serving, which contains mg/% USRDA (whichever is available, or both, if listed) of the following: Calories 0, Fat 0g, sodium 30mg/1%, carbohydrates 0g, sugars 0g, protein 0g, vitamin C 100%, niacin 100%, vitamin b6 190%, vitamin b12 175%, pantothenic acid 50%.
Calories- 0
Flavor- Coffee
Rating:6 out of 10

Recon Coffee Energy Cola is a mixture of coffee and cola, which I'm not sure it is a good mix. I am a big fan of both coffee and cola just not together. The taste wasn't absolutely horrible but I'm not sure that mixing coffee and cola was the smartest idea.
Both coffee and cola usually have a good amount of energy in them and when they happened to be combined they have plenty of energy. In Recon Coffee Energy Cola there are many sources of energy from B vitamins, C vitamins, and Caffeine.
Bottom Line- I rated Recon Coffee Energy Cola an 6 out of 10 because it tastes is not necessarily the best mix of coffee and cola. Though the taste does not make the best match the energy in the drink does have a great source and a plentiful kick.
Natural Highs Adina Vanilla Nut Case
Natural Highs Adina Vanilla Nut Case
Cost- $1.99 for 8.0 Oz
Active Ingredients - Carbohydrates 20g/7%, Vitamin A 4%, Calcium 15%, Protein 4g, Iron 2%, and 100mg of natural caffeine.
Calories- 110
Flavor- Vanilla Nut
Rating:5 out of 10

Natural Highs Adina Vanilla Nut Case is a great tasting sweet and creamy coffee alternative. This drink taste just like something that I would get at a coffee shop to avoid the bitter coffee taste, which is not found in the drink at all, just the creamy smooth vanilla nut taste.
In Natural Highs Adina Vanilla Nut Case you get the same amount of energy that you would get from drinking a regular coffee from your local coffee shop. So there is no crazy energy boost from this drink, but if you are sensitive to energy drinks then the is the creamy sensation for you!
Bottom Line- I rated On Natural Highs Adina Vanilla Nut Case an 5 out of 10 because it tastes is a nice and creamy vanilla nut flavor with no bitter coffee after taste. The energy side is nothing special though, you might as well drink a cup of coffee.
On Go Energy Shot Lemon Lime
On Go Energy Shot Lemon Lime
Cost- $2.99 for 2.0 Oz
Active Ingredients - Taurine, Malic Acid (I consider this active, as it adds the tartness you find in Warhead candies. Likely the active ingredient that makes this taste lemon-lime), N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (this is described by a variety of sources as doing everything from reducing reaction time to reducing cravings for cocaine in baseheads), caffeine, L-Phenylalanine (An amino acid which you're probably most familiar with because of Phenylketonurics warning on many products, including this one), L-Glutamine (amino acid essential to recover from some illnesses and injury, DNA synthesis, protein synthesis, muscle growth, and some other things), Glucuronolactone (important structural component of nearly all connective tissues). The following % values are contained in each serving, 150% B6, 150% Niacin, 8330% B12, 100% Folic Acid, 100% Riboflavin, 100% Thiamine, 2% Potassium

Calories-100
Flavor- Mango
Rating:7 out of 10

Power Trip Mango is delicious! I am a big fan of mango and its artificially flavored treats and this is one of them! It does not fall short! It is a bit overly sweet and has a lot of sodium in it which is probably not the best for you to consume.
Power Trip Mango definitely has the energy crammed into it! With almost three times as much energy as other famous energy drinks, and for half the price! Getting 16 oz of this amazing mango flavored drink full of energy for only $1.25 is a great deal!
Bottom Line- I rated Power Trip Mango an 7 out of 10 because it tastes amazing and packs a perfect punch of energy. Plus it's a great price for what you get! Yummmm!
N-Motion Caffeine Free
N-Motion Caffeine Free
Cost- $1.00 for 8.3 Oz
Active Ingredients - Indisclosed amounts of Taurine, Rhodiola, Astragalus, Green Tea Extract, and Evodia.
Calories-110
Flavor- Fruity
Rating: 1 out of 10

Once you open the drink the smell is way too much to handle. After I managed to get over the strong sent I took a sip of the N-Motion Caffeine Free and I almost spit it back up. The taste is horrible im not sure where they came up with the flavoring for this but I can't stand it. So because I could barely take only one sip of the drink I cannot tell about how energized it will make you because I still have no idea!
Bottom Line- I rated N-Motion Caffeine Free an 1 out of 10 because it tastes repulsive and I couldn't even take more than a sip. Don't waste your money!

Rating: 6 out of 10

The cool part about this drink is that Lance Armstrong represents it, the guy that rides bicycles for a living not Neil Armstrong the one that landed on the moon. The can has some pretty good health benefits saying that its good for you. It doesn't taste too bad to drink either, just make sure that you shake it well before you drink it.
You do get a good energy kick from the FRS Wild Berry Low Calorie Healthy Energy. The energy in this drink comes from Green tea and B Vitamins so you not drowning yourself in caffeine, which is a nice change.
Bottom Line- I rated FRS Wild Berry Low Calorie Healthy Energy an 6 out of 10 because it tastes pretty good and its good for you! The drink also gives you a good energy kick and not all from caffeine.
Hooters Energy Drink
Hooters Energy Drink

Calories-110
Flavor- Orange
Rating: 5 out of 10

Since it's the new trend to create energy drinks to help your dying company, Hooters did just that! Don't get me wrong you have to do what you got to do to stay afloat but common be original. The Hooters Energy Drink taste like they got the orange soda out of their soda machine and added some caffeine to it. Given that it does taste good but not very original.
With the amount of caffeine that is in it you do get a decent amount of an energy boost but still nothing crazy. I think I would rather drink a cup of coffee to get energy rather than feel like a 5 year old drinking orange soda for the sugar rush.
Bottom Line- I rated Hooters Energy Drink an 5 out of 10 because it tastes just like an everyday orange soda, and lack originality, but it's still tolerable to drink. You also do get a little bit of an energy boost from drinking it, but not sure this is something I would spend my pay check on.
Guru Lemonade Full On Energy Drink
Guru Lemonade Full On Energy Drink
Cost- $1.99 for 12 Oz

Also, there's a proprietary blend of 1285mg of undisclosed individual amounts of the following: Guarana seed extract, Enchinacea flower extract, Panax ginseng root extract, Ginkgo bilboa leaf extract.
Calories-115
Flavor-Lomonade
Rating: 8 out of 10

I don't think I have ever had another Lemonade energy drink, and putting a whole bag of sugar in a Kool-Aid Lemonade packet does not count. From being the only Lemonade energy drink that I have had it taste great! The lemonade flavor itself is enough to keep my drinking it.
On top of tasting great Guru Lemonade Full on Energy Drink is an organic drink, so if you're a tree huger it is great for you, No offense. I'm not one to particular care for the organic stuff but I know many people that go crazy for it so this drink is perfect.
The energy is this drink is also great. You do taste it a bit in the drink but because the lemonade is so good you can barely notice it. The 150mg gives you a great energy kick to keep you going. Being only $1.99 you can get a good energy drink for a good price.
Bottom Line- I rated Guru Lemonade Full On Energy Drink an 8 out of 10 because it tastes great, and is possibly the only lemonade flavor energy drink that I have ever seen. Guru Lemonade Full On Energy Drink gives you a great boost of energy and its all for a good price. Definitely worth trying if you like lemonade and energy drinks.
Full Throttle Coffee Energy Vanilla

Active Ingredients -This coffee contains 126mg of caffeine. Also, 1123mg of taurine, 167mg of ginseng extract, 27mg of carnitine, 1.3mg of guarana extract. Vanilla apparently has 1 more gram of protein than caramel.
Calories-250
Flavor- Vanilla
Rating: 7.0 out of 10

I am a big fan of my flavored coffee drinks, and I got to say Full Throttle Coffee Energy Vanilla is just like all the other ones. It tastes great just like every other sugary fake coffee drink does. There is really nothing different about this drink than the other, except you don't have the Starbucks brand name.
The energy boost was just the same as drinking a Grande Vanilla Latte at Starbucks; I'm more of a Carmel lover myself. Though this drink does give you plenty of energy and tastes good.
The cost of Full Throttle Coffee Energy Vanilla is a little bit less than what you would pay for a Grande Vanilla Latte at Starbucks; just you don't have the brand name to it. Though if you can save a few bucks for the same drink why not!
Bottom Line- I rated Full Throttle Coffee Energy Vanilla an 7 out of 10 because it tastes just like every other flavored coffee energy drink, which is not a bad thing. You get a good amount of energy from it. Also when you buy this it won't rob your wallet.
Lost Perfect 10
Lost Perfect 10
Cost- $1.99 for 16 Oz
Active Ingredients -Tons of caffeine, guarana, and ginseng make up the 5000mg of their Energy Blend. They also pack in an extra 2000mg of taurine into each can.
Calories-10
Flavor- Citrus
Rating: 6.0 out of 10

Lost Perfect 10 ifs just like every other energy drink out there that is trying super hard to be Monster. This drink taste almost identical to the monster low carb energy drink. Which can either be a good thing or a bad thing. I personally was not to crazy about the drink it self but for being a sugar free drink it wasn't too bad.
The energy boost is almost identical to that of the Monster Low Carb energy drink also. It definitely does have the caffeine crammed in there. I did get a boost of energy but nothing super crazy.
At $1.99 Lost Perfect 10 is no better than the Monster line of energy drinks. This is not some super great price. I could get a straight cup of Starbucks coffee for the same price and probably give me the same amount of energy.
Bottom Line- I rated Lost Perfect 10 an 6 out of 10 because it tastes like that of Monster Low Carb, which isn't horrible but not very authentic. It also gave me a good little boost of energy. But the price is just about the same as the Monster drinks so why would you get a wannabe if you can get the actually thing for the same price.

Blue Streak Sugar Free
Blue Streak Sugar Free
Cost- $.89 for 16 Oz
Active Ingredients -An unspecified amount of taurine, and caffeine. As for vitamins, we have 100% B3, 250% B6, 80% B12, 50% B5. These figures are per serving, as there are 2 servings per can.
Calories-10
Flavor- Tonic Water
Rating: 5.0 out of 10

After drinking Blue Streak Sugar Free I could not figure out what the flavor was just by drinking it. I and to look at the can to see what it said the flavor was, because there is no real flavor to this drink. One thing the drink does have is salt, and plenty of it. There is 320mg of sodium in the little 16 oz can. That's like drink straight sea water, which no one ever wants to do.
After drinking the whole drink, even though there was no flavor to it, I was waiting for my energy that I was promised. And after waiting for an hour I still had no more energy than I did before. All I had was a mouth full of salt! With all of the B vitamins that the drink has I would think that I would get some energy kick, but never did.
For only being $.89 the price is not bad, now only if the drink was actually good it would be a great deal. I have paid more for horrible drinks, so at least this one didn't empty my bank account.
Bottom Line- I rated Blue Streak Sugar Free an 5 out of 10 because it tastes like nothing. You get a sodium overdose from drinking it. There is no clear sign of an energy boost in the drink. Lastly it is only $.89 so if you somehow manage to enjoy drinking it you won't be spending too much.

N-Motion Sugar Free
N-Motion Sugar Free
Cost- $1.00 for 8.3 Oz
Active Ingredients - Unlike the caffeine free, which contains Formula MV II, the sugar free version contains the elusive Formula MV I (the original), which contains taurine, rhodiola, green tea extract, and caffeine.
Calories-10
Flavor- Strawberry
Rating: 1.0 out of 10

After taking one sip of this so called strawberry flavored drink I couldn't drink it any more. The little horrible taste I did get was not strawberry at all. This drink is sweetened with artificial sweetener so if you can actually manage to drink more than a sip get ready for the bitter after taste.
Now if there is energy in this drink and if it actually works I could not tell you because I could only get one sip down, and that's not enough to tell the energy level.
Bottom Line- I rated N-Motion Sugar Free an 1 out of 10 because its so called strawberry taste is horrible. With only being able to stand taking one sip I have no idea how effective the energy was in this drink. Don't buy its no good!
Player Aid Premium Energy Shot
Player Aid Premium Energy Shot
Cost- $2.50 for 2 Oz
Active Ingredients - Player Aid Premium Energy Shot contains 1 (2oz.) serving per container. That serving contains the following mg/% USRDA of the following: Vitamin B6 10mg/833%, Niacin 30mg/250%, Vitamin B12 (actually written Viaymin B12 on the bottle) 500mcg/13883%, Folic Acid 400mcg/167%, Pantothenic Acid 4.8mg/83%. Player Aid Energy Shot also contains a proprietary blend of 2.24g including 120mg of caffeine and 2.12g of undisclosed amounts of the following: N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, Green Tea, Yerba Mate, Ginseng, Glucuronolactone, and L-Citroline Malate.
Calories- 6
Flavor- Cherry
Rating: 7.0 out of 10

Player Aid Premium Energy Shot does a great job with the flavor. This cherry energy shot is a bit bitter but I think it is mostly because of the energy in the drink. Though it is a bit bitter, the overall taste is good and the bitterness doesn't through you off.
As most energy shots that promise hours of energy and that you can never even tell that you took and energy shot or you feel like you have just done crack and go crazy. Player Aid Premium Energy Shot has the right amount of energy. It definitely gives you a boost and you can tell you took and energy shot but also you're not at the going crazy point.
Bottom Line- I rated Player Aid Premium Energy Shot an 7 out of 10 because its cherry taste is great a little bit bitter but nothing that is horrible. This energy shot also leaves you fully energized and ready to face whatever it is that comes your way!
Go Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink
Go Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink
Cost- $1.92 for 8.3 Oz
Active Ingredients - Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink has 80mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, 50mg of inositol, 50mg of choline, 10mg of ginseng, 10mg of guarana.
Calories- 120
Flavor- Cherry
Rating: 6.0 out of 10

Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink is definitely a better drink than the last few that I have reviewed. The can itself looks like it was something that was used on the set of that 70's show. The marketing is a bit dated, but if you're into the 70's if may just be what catches your attention.
The taste of Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink is great! This cherry flavored drink tastes better than the cherry Icees I used to get as a kid on hot summer days. You really can't taste any of the caffeine or other energy supplements in it; their flavor is covered greatly by the cherry taste. Downside to the awesome cherry flavor is that it left my lips red!
With the usually energy supplements in Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink it does give you a little boost of energy. It didn't leave me bouncing of the walls going crazy but it did have a good pick me up kick to it, giving me that little extra bit that I needed to get through my day.
Bottom Line- I rated Juice Energy Turbo-Charged Energy Drink an 6 out of 10 because its cherry taste is great. The can is a little dated looking to me, as if I stepped into a time machine. But the energy kick is a good one not to much but enough to know that it was an energy drink
Hardcore Energize Bullet Blue Rage
Hardcore Energize Bullet Blue Rage
Cost- $2.99 for 2.9 Oz
Active Ingredients -Hardcore Energize Bullet contains the following mg/USRDA per serving (1), whichever or both if listed: Calories 12, Carbohydrates 3g/1%, Vitamin B-1 5mg/333%, Vitamin B-6 10mg/500%, Folic Acid 200mcg/50%, Vitamin B-12 3mcg/150%, Magnesium 1.2mg/1%, Proprietary Hardcore Energize Bullet Formula 769mg (Caffeine, L-Tyrosine, Glucuronolactone, Panax Ginseng 10%, Theobromine, Policosinol 90%, Rhodiola Rosea), Total Caffeine 300mg. Hardcore Energize Bullet also contains deionized water, malic acid, natural flavors, sodium bicarbonate, sucralose, acesulfame-potassium, and FD&C blue #1.
Calories- 12
Flavor- Berry
Rating: 3.0 out of 10

Hardcore Energize Bullet Blue Rage is a blue looking energy drink that comes in a oddly shaped tube. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they decided to put their product in this tube. The bottom of it is rounded so the only real way to stand it up is to but it on its cap, but even then the cap is also a bit rounded so it barely stands. Not only is it hard to stand on the cap, because the bottom is rounded when you see the bottle you might get the wrong idea.
Now as for the taste, when you first open the container you get a medical smell. With 300mg of Caffeine is not surprising. The taste itself is similar to a blue berry punch type flavor which is not horrible but it is sweetened with artificial sweetener so if you're one of those people that hate the after taste of it, warning it is there. With the 300mg of caffeine a horrible chemical after taste is expected, but I do have to say that it was not that bad in this drink.
Is Hardcore Energize Bullet Blue Rage supposed to actually give me energy? With 300mg of caffeine I was expecting to be bouncing off the walls with energy. But instead I felt no real energy kick. I had my same level of awareness I do without drinking energy drinks. I guess the positive side to it is that it didn't put me to sleep right?
Bottom Line- I rated Hardcore Energize Bullet Blue Rage an 3 out of 10 because its taste isn't completely horrible but definitely not what I would call good. The packaging was poorly done, with a very inappropriate looking shape. As for the 300mg of caffeine these was no energy boost for this energy drink.

Omega
Omega
Cost- $1.99 for 16.0 Oz
Active Ingredients -Caffeine, Beta-Carotine, and 1000 mg of Taurine pack this can with punch. Omega comes from the Company Fuze which has brought us great tasting drinks in the past with different categories such as Slenderize and Energize. The Energize category offers just a hint of ginseng to give your light weights a little boost, only a fraction of the energy offered in Omega. There is a website listed but when we tried to access it, we received an error stating that it was unable to be found.
Calories- 100
Flavor- Fruity Citrus
Rating: 1.0 out of 10

Omega is one of the oldest energy drinks around. It was out when Monster was first hitting the shelf. Now after the history lesson the drink sucks! I took one sip and couldn't drink anymore. I barely even kept that down. After I did manage to keep down what I did drink of it. I started feeling really sick! This drink will definitely clean you out! And not it a good way! Because I couldn't get more than a sip down of the drink I can't say anything about the energy and if it actually works. This drink was definitely a waste of my $2.00.
Bottom Line- I rated Omega an 1 out of 10 because its taste repulsive. I couldn't even finish so I have no idea if there is even enough energy in it. And at $2.00 it is a total waste of money!
